The JD Sports design team required a scalable alternative to micro-cement that didn’t compromise on style. The goal was a high-resistance flooring solution that preserved the urban aesthetic while cutting down both installation time and project costs.

Starting from a physical micro-cement sample provided by the client, we worked to replicate the core features of the material: texture, mineral nuances, and those characteristic small inclusions that made the original surface unique. We engineered a bespoke porcelain stoneware tile that captures the raw essence of micro-cement enhanced by our own unique design twist.

This custom solution provided JD sports with an incredibly durable, high-performance floor that is easy to install and maintain. It has since become the new standard across their global retail network.
